2025-2026 Academic Year Turkish Education Foundation (TEV) University Education Scholarship Applications Have Started

The Turkish Education Foundation (TEV)’s scholarship applications for the 2025-2026 academic year started on September 15. 

Applications for the scholarship, which will be 5,800 TL per month for nine months in the 2025–2026 academic year, will be conducted online through TEV’s digital platform Obigenç between September 15 – October 9, 2025.

Focusing on equal opportunities in education, the Turkish Education Foundation (TEV), which has been working with its 58-year-old deep-rooted history, continues to illuminate the educational lives of thousands of students each year with the scholarship opportunities it provides. In the 2025–2026 academic year, the university education scholarship support that will touch the lives of 20,000 students has been determined as 5,800 TL per month for nine months. Applications for the TEV University Education Scholarship aimed at university students will be accepted through TEV’s mobile application named Obigenç, just like last year, between September 15 – October 9, 2025. University students can download the Obigenç application for free from the App Store and Google Play.

TEV: A Digital Bridge in the Education and Career Lives of Young People

With the vision that “Young people are not the adults of the future, they are today’s themselves,” the Turkish Education Foundation developed Obigenç; an innovative mobile platform that supports university students' educational and career journeys with a holistic approach, launched in 2024. The foundation facilitates applying for the TEV scholarship, staying informed about social and cultural events, and tracking discounts and opportunities by digitizing them end-to-end with Obigenç, and continues to stand by young people with supports such as job/internship opportunities, certified trainings, and mentorship through the platform.

TEV Also Meets Students' Basic Needs

In addition to the university (education) scholarship provided to scholarship recipients, TEV’s Complementary Scholarships that help meet students' basic needs have been increased in the 2025–2026 academic year. Within the program, at least 2,500 students who are eligible to receive an education scholarship from TEV will receive an additional monthly support of 1,500 TL for meals, 1,000 TL for transportation, or 500 TL for books and stationery, in addition to the 5,800 TL. The foundation continues to provide safe and supportive living spaces for young women with student dormitories it has opened in different cities, offering paid, 50% discounted, and scholarship accommodation opportunities to strengthen equal opportunities in housing alongside its scholarship programs.
